It's with freelancer, and call FLServer, it's even in you start menu in the map Freelancer.

I've been using IFSO (Ioncross Freelancer Server Operator, developed by Joeboomz) . It works just fine and gives you all the tools you need to run a real administration of flserver.

IFSO is great if you really want to keep up with your server. If your the type of person that needs hands on control of your server, IFSO. Hands Down! I stopped looking for an admin program after I found IFSO. Find it in the downloads section. Be sure to get the latest version.

i have 4 brothers and all ther friends plus my wife and my self we love this game and can't play online because we share a routed net work and only one persion at a time can log on to the net and we all want to play as a team... so i set up a lan server and i want to give every one some starting crtedit so we can go exploring and such ,,, but how do i do that on a server.. please any thing would be helpfull ..

If your would rather change the money manually, use Ioncross Freelancer Server Operator (see download section) and edit each players money after they have made thier character.

Also, the server running the game should be connected to the internet and all the computers connected to your LAN can play there AND the server can also be accessable to players online if you allow them too. The server setup screen asks you if you want to allow new players and if you want the server accessable on the internet, as well as if you want PVP turned on. So there is no reason that your family and friends can't play over a LAN and have internet players on at the same time, though your computer may have trouble handling too many players at once.

Or you might try to log-on one LAN computer to the Internet and run a NAT program on that computer. Set the de Default Gateway of other computers to this one. Then you should be able to access Internet and play from all computers in your LAN. Hope this helps, but I can't guarantee since I don't know exact setup of your LAN & ISP.
