This probably should have been listed in one of the other forums, but made its way here. Even though I have better things to do with my time, I also like reading other forums to find cheaters to look out for on my servers. One thing I would like to point out, just using the console side for the FLserver to read for "cheats" is like saying that driving 5 miles under the speed limit is against the law. The Flserver console will show player accounts to a degree, but if you went by every red and yellow flagging shown on it, come on honestly you'd have like 5 players. If you took the actual time to go digging in their files and see if these people were actually modders, you'd probably find squat.
When I first started hosting a server I had the only knowledge of the Flserver console to check for possible; I repeat "possible", cheaters. It is not a definitive way to check for so called cheating. As many people that are against the IFSO program, it is one of the better cheat stoppers out there. You can name whatever you want as bannable or not.
People that use the unlimited ammo and bots/batts trainers can be caught with a scan and screenshot, as it will show them as having 999 ammo or bots/batts. IFSO allows you to physically see the players file, their cargo, and dig through the main parts to check equipment even without ID or names.
I would not even begin to know the rules on this server that is being slammed and talked about, nor do I really care. Point is, if you are going to ban someone for cheating, then you should have better proof than a nameless half guessing console system that flags almost every person that comes onto the server...especially if they are a new character account.
You all should have someone create a neutral server where you can duke it out and settle your problems once and for all. Winner walks away, loser walks away......hands down a fair fight with no admin interference except to put you in equal ships and guns/launchers if need be......
