Firewalls

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Firewalls

Ive been trying to run a server for me and my freinds to play on but they can never connect to my server.i think it may be because of the firewall on my computer.can any one tell me how to temporaraly shut it down so my freinds can go on my server?

read the readme file of freelancer and the manual of your firewalll on how to open ports 2300 and 2302 on your firewall to allow access

What type of firewall you have? if its WinXP FW standart then go to advanced tab under connection properties.

im not sure what type i think its part of norton anti virus system works(oh and i have <win 2000 pro>
