It's probably gone permanently. Alot of people now goto Alpha Centauri 2. No mods are used there. Also, it has an active Admin.

If you use a mods on AC2, prepare to be banned.

Entropy is totally right ac2 is one of the better servers. Not only is there an active admin but a group of server police monitoring the server to ensure fair play by all. I am one of these server police and i must say the admin of ac2 is on quite alot and does enforce his rules. For new or old players id definitly check it out.

The admin is a freaking asshole, i asked Tate to ask the admin on MSN (since he said he was talking to him) if i could join the server police and u know what the admin says? "STOP BUGGING MY POLICE WE DONT NEED YOU" and i pmed him back that i would leave the server if thats the kind of attitude he was going to have over me asking a simple question, and he says "no u can stay" shortly after, i left and havent been back since

Skylar - gotta put it into perspective. The admin probs doesn't know who the heck you are for one, and then also might get asked that about 20 times a day as well! Now i don't konw who the admin is, but i must admit - admin of a server aint the job i would want........most won't give you the remote access either, so you can't kick em at will which is kinda embarressing as everyone gets blasted to pieces. Give him a second shot, get to know who he is, find out if you would really like to be an admin anywayss - its an over rated job!!

Did something change? The last time I dropped in the admin was no where to be seen, and i met 3 modders within 3 minutes in New York.

If the server has been cleaned up it might be worth a second visit. It seemed to me at the time to be a pretty titanic job though..

It's a pretty relaxed server. I'm enjoying my time there. There is a strickt NO MODS rules and anyone that uses mods will be a) Banned, b) Sent to Alaska, c) Asked once to remove his/her mod or A/B will be executed.

It's good to play without mods. It's also good to know that you're actually watched by the police. One message and he'll be with you in just a few seconds (the main admin, not his deputies. they don't have access to the tools, i think)

Already there are lots of newcomers to AC2.
There are 2 no PK systems, New York (obviously of course) and Omicron Theta ( i have no idea why theta is a no PK zone.)

I really encourage peopl to join AC2.

Yes Skylar we do have alot modded on our ships. To better combat those who want to ruin honest players fun. I am one of the Server Police and have had quite a few modders try comming on and takin out new players. They didnt get far in doing it. No one i have talked to has given a bad report about us having mods.Skylsr i know the admin and we talk alot. He is very busy and if he did act that way i know he did not mean it, please come give ac2 another try we would love to have you.
