Badlands PvP server.

You are allowed to:

1-Kill noobs.
2-Dock camp.
3-Tax and Toll.
4-Foil missions.
5-Blow up freighters.
6-Disrupt trade lanes.
7-Claim Territories.
8-Place bounties on other players

Only players that want the most challenge would play there. I would want to encourage freighter players to try to do trade runs with other players that would stop them.

The point of the server is no moral rules regarding what is right and wrong. Evil tactics are welcome. (No modding, F1 cheat, or "Excessive" vulgarity)

sounds like one where you need to be first in or you will never have a chance
bet theres a bunch of eagles hanging out at manhattan within the first week

If i knew how to change the starting location to Kepler system, Ames station this won't happen.

go to Mpnewcharacter.fl , locate

system = %%HOME_SYSTEM%%
base = %%HOME_BASE%%

replace with

system = Iw05
base = Iw05_01_Base

advicable is to add a shipyard and some newbie goods for sale at the market too
but that is just my humble opinion

I have no idea how to mod. So this is something impossible for me to create.
However, if someone has the skills and the time to create this I'll gladly use it.

The aim is for the more experienced players who aren't enjoying the strickly
No-PK servers anymore.

For my part I'm not worried in the least about who's in first. A person can't watch the docks all the time - all you have to do is pick the right time to slip by. From there on in it's all about being aware of who is close to you.

I could easily alter the loadout of that base for you take about 10 minutes, but the problem you then face is that, people would have to download the mod, for 1, you would probably need to password it as people joining without the mod activated would likely cause lag or crash the server for 2.

I don't understand how moving the starting location helps though? I mean, the reason many hi-lvl players come to NY is to either help noobs or shoot at them or at least introduce them to the server. If starting location is moved to Kepler, people will just gravitate there instead. If you are going to have a no PvP in Kepler, why not just leave the starting location at NY and have no PvP there? But of course that would defeat the whole purpose of this server. I say just forget the whole idea of moving the starting location - leave it at NY and let everyone fend for themselves or enlist help of other players to get started. It's probably only going to be a server with experienced players anyways, and they'll find a way to survive.

It is more than possible to get out of a planet when there are three eagles guarding it and dock camping. It's very simple: You just need a friend in their own eagle to blast those three eagles enough for them to turn their full attention to your friend. Hopefully, you'll be long gone, and without pursuers, by the time your friend is annihilated by the three.

I know, because I helped someone escape Planet Crete once when there were three dock campers around it one day on another server. I simply attacked the three campers and PM-ordered the jailbird to run, and whadaya know --- he escaped!

If you're going to have a server where you can kill noobs and dock camp, moving the start position to a system where you cannot PK COMPLETELY DEFEATS THE PURPOSES OF HAVING THE SERVER IN THE FIRST PLACE! LOL

I don't understand why there needs to be a neutral zone. The ideas was no Liberty rule or any rules (except modding, f1 cheat, excessive vulgarity) I don't know for sure, but I hope and think that many players will not hang out at NY. It would get boring killing defenseless noobs all the time.

I am anti-Liberty rule, so I am obviously anti-Kepler rule as well.

That's the plan. I'm hosting it on my own computer right now. I'm looking for a place where I can be sure that it will be 24/7. Not sure where to look tho. If there is such a place where I can get it hosted 24/7 then by all means, let me know. I don't mind paying for it.
