Server Version

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Server Version

What are the different server versions that I see in Multi-Player. I have seen 1.41, 1.56, and 1.58. How can you play on these servers?

These versions are mods that are created by different poeple. The mod version 1.41 is from frostworks. they overhaul much of the game, and so it means that you cannot log on without downloading and installing there mod. This is because otherwise people would try to get on the server WITHOUT the mod- and there fore crash the server - repeatedly!
So - lookout for which servers run what - then search the forums for links. These mods add systems, ships, missions, commodities etc. They change one heck of alot of stuff, and it makes the game have a little more 'longevity' to it!
