Storage Character Bug!!!
Note that one of the possible causes is large deposits. Not just the amount that you have put in one storage character. It is possible that if you put smaller deposits in your character at one time, then you could have 500 items. Maybe there is no limit, just a limit on the deposit size. Every time I had this problem, it was during very large deposits.
Another person had the bug at 80 items or so, but I know that 165 items works, so maybe it is just the deposit size and not the balance. Please put your experience under the Storage Character topic so we can accumulate more ideas in one place. We may be able to narrow it down if more people participate in that thread.

A VERY FRUSTRATED CEASAR HERE!

I can't connect. Brief version:

Storage Bug, Mordred resets accounts, transferred some to another char, now no connect. Process: Select Browclopsia, "LOADING", and when the Character selection screen begins to come up, "Connection Lost". Attempts after that, without restarting, "Please Wait..." & "Connection Lost...".

Attempted Solutions: Complete uninstall/reinstall Freelancer, defragged harddrive, scanned for viruses, Begged for second reset of accounts (done! thanks Mordred), tested other servers (connected to all 1st attempt, no worries).

Questions: Is this a typical response to a banned person? Is it possible to get a DIFFERENT MP ID # (freelancer assigned the same one after reinstalling)? Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue, and if so, what corrections were made?

You could see what happens if Mordred simply deleted that character. I can understand this being a less than desiarable solution but its better than not being able to play at all. Just a thought.

That's what happened. Guess what the result was? I was able to log in and create accounts. BUGGER! Oh, well. Compared to the idea of not playing, starting over isnt so bad. Hopefully my credit status with someoone online is good enough I can get a loan to get back where I was 2 days ago.

had same prop easy fix some times when you copy n paste over it dont work so first you log in as a differant charater name will you r loged in he deletes them the one you want fixed then adds it back in by cut/paste not copy should fix the problem for you (only the charater file nothing else) then log back to selecte charater should be able to get if not he will have to reset server so it will work
