Help... first time server

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Help... first time server

I have tryed 2 make a server. But but if some of my friends tryes 2 join then they just get the text:"I'm sorry. But a connection could not be estabilised to that server......." what the **** am I doing wrong?????

I have tryed Freelancer serveroperator 1.3 but it still don't work....... HELP ME OUT HERE

It is proberbly because you have a router....you need to open ports 2300-2400 on UDP...I think that is right...could someone else confirm the port numbers for me...

You usually do this by going into your routers settings and opening them manually.

Try reading here where I explain how to setup a gateway, if you have one. Also there is a TON of information throughout these forums. Just look!

yes I router....... but I don't get it, what is it I have to do?
2302-2304 what is that and what is UDP?

I don't know if it my comp. or my friend's comp. it's wrong with, he got firewall to and I don't think he has that port open'd, but can it be him thats the problem when I am creator??
