SP Character import into MP

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

SP Character import into MP

Hey All,

I searched through as much of every forum here as I could, so don't flame me if I missed the answer somewhere. I did try

A buddy of mine is setting up a FL server and we want to import our SP characters onto the server. I had heard this can be done, but I just don't know how. Any information you guys can shell out would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it can be done. The SP character is more like a saved game and not a character file. If you press the F8 key, you get different types of stats and that probably means the saved file is in a different format. I finished SP a long time ago, so not sure about this, but I think you can also only have one character in SP. That would also suggest that the file is in a different format.

In summary, it can't be done, because they are different types of saved characters.
