CALGARY 24/7

I tried to log into Calgary but it the say it is taking longer than its supposed to. After 2mins. it gets me to the screen where I choose what account I want to use and ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS ARE GONE! WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THIS IS THIS A SERVER PROBLEM I SEE CALGARY HAS A 448 PING!
THIS REALLY BUGS ME I HAVE A GOOD SHIP ON THERE AND IT'S THE ONLY GOOD SERVER I HAVE FOUND SINCE RAPTOR'S WENT DOWN.Sorry for the CAPS but I am very pissed off!

Hey flancing!

I have noticed some lag too on their server. Which is odd because they are usually VERY fast! Maybe it needs a restart....

Anyways, I'm a not sure what happened to your characters, maybe they got corrupt :-(

The only thing I can offer, is help to rebuild you character back up to what is was.
If you meet me on Calgary I will give you plenty of money and all the weapons equipment you need to get back up to where you were.
I hope this will help you and you get refitted soon!

hey flancing, that happened 2 me 2. next time print off your acount ID and u should be ok. u can print it off either by the file myFlaccount in the freelancer directory or by the game. hope u sort it out

You are most likely a victim of The Storage Character Bug. Check out this thread and spread the word.

If it isn't The Storage Character Bug, then it is character corruption caused by something else.

I just went on Calgary 24/7 and forgot to put Zone Alarm on, simple error but ended up with msblast being installed on my machine have managed to remove both the prefetch file and .exe that was left on there but now cant retrieve any global internet servers and freelancer just halts and I haev to reboot my machine ! I take it they dont like people going on there server then !

Can anyone help, or am I gonna have to reinstall the lot and lose my save games etc?!??!

Not sure if you did this, but you can choose the reinstall without uninstalling and the saved game stays there.
