DAMN GLOBAL SERVER

this is starting to be a pain,why is the global server always goin down

why do we have to rely on this global connection to work to go on the other freelancer servers,there should be just a way to connect to all the other servers just like that.
Anyones opinions would help.

Well theres a problem with that addon to the freelance.exe,if u put this

Freelancer.exe -s then the ip it changes the file type,can u say why it does this?

1. right click on the icon
2. click properties
3. edit the target box

when i add the ip to the end e.g

-s132.354.12.10:990 the : cant be used in that file taget

I need the IP for the "E1 Deathmatch Server" .....cant connect to global server as well.....could check the ip for me pls?

i am putting it it target but it says that the : symbols cant be used in that and those : symbols are in server ips

u also could open the file "fldirectip.hta" (in the EXE Folder) This feature allows you to connect to a Freelancer server without having to connect to the global server so long as you know the sever IP and Port......

Where do i get it?

By using ASE. I have all my servers I use on custom icons so rarely use the global. Only use it if the server is quiet that I admin on, as sometimes it doesnt show up in the global listings and needs restarted.
