Well, if someone really appologises then why bother an admin with this? It might have been a *real* accident. Same thing happened to me too a few times where I accidently shot someone. I just apologised and gave him a few credits and moved on.

The problem is more wide spread than just a single event. It happened to me as well, and to numerous others. There is no enforcement of the rules so there is little compliance. If you play on this server expect to get killed in Liberty. I suggest leveling up as fast as possible without cheating, and then buy some heavy metal to protect yourself with.

You arn't a victim just because you got killed in Liberty System. The rule is useless anyway. It is just food for player conflict and banning excuses. Who cares if you get killed in Liberty? It is all the same to me. Just don't consistantly pick on noobs and prevent them from leveling up.

Since there is no real way to enforce the rules, it is mostly up to the players to follow them. Besides if you're too stupid to follow a few simple rules, you don't really deserve to be there.

Also, those who take screenshots and report players to the admin, they're just being loyal to the server...that's all. I would think that was a good thing as it helps reduce cheaters and in turn, help server stability. (and I know this is a different matter, so don't say it)

In conclusion, stop trying to rationalize PKing in Liberty, there is NO excuse for it...END OF DISCUSSION!!

I don't Pk in NY on servers where it is the rule and everyone should obey the Liberty Rule, where it is in effect. And I don't bash the enforcers. I just think that it is a rule with good intentions, but its value is overrated. It also makes people feel they are victims when they really aren't. It is food for hostility. It kinda makes the game less fun, since more times is spent argueing over the rules being broken, rather than playing the game. Keep it Reasonable.
