What happened to elite?

Hey folks, i noticed the elite server is down but there is a "elite2" server now online with a limit of 128 ppl, this server in the discription has atakaka's mail, is this the new elite?

Btw the server is buggy, cant even log in

This "Elite 3" is not the original "Elite", but some new hardware I have access to...

Yes, there are some network issues I am working on, and if they work out, this should be a grand server (though at this point not certain it will be up forever).

Elite is up and running, but w/o new account creation enabled, for the time being. In addition, with the failed attempt to mod the server to prevent cheaters, and some recent network issues, the server has had better days.

Please continue to use Elite, and send me (and/or Stinger) feedback on the performance, downtime, and of course, cheaters...
