I was on the server earlier today. left and came back it was gone. i just figured it was down for a few, but its been all day. so im just wondering if anyone knows why. thanks.

Noticed this as well, the server didn't show on the server browser. But, you could access it directly via the IP. Strange...

There were multiple problems. The internet router for the Calgary 24/7 server crashed.

After the internet router was restarted the FL server computer was also restarted. Unfortunately when this happened two instances of FL server were started after boot. This happened because when the computer is booting up programs take a while to load. The Freelancer restart daemon started the Freelancer server upon boot and then a little bit later noticed the Freelancer server had not started up yet so it again spawned another instance of Freelancer. The problem was that the first instance was just slow in starting.

Calgary 24/7 is almost self-sufficient, but still requires some admin intervention every couple of weeks

Gone there a few times and seems to be pretty stable fer the most part.

except when people get on with speed 3000 mods and crap of the sort and lag up the server and cause it to crash, thus ruining the fun for everyone else (FFH Raven)
