AHH! The net is killing me!

Last couple days, I've had a lotta probs getting to local places, but no probs getting to most far-far away places. Whaddaheck is going on? Pings seem to go through, but actually browsing to the site (or playing) is either denied or almost denied.
Anybody know what the heck is up? Did the net lose a major router or something? Did someone come up w/ a successful virus? : / Whatever it is, I can't play on Elite OR Browclopse, though I ping Elite @ about 15-30 ms, and Brow @ around 100 ms.
