Changing Server Defaults

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Changing Server Defaults

Or w/e it's called.

Anyone know how to change a server's settings when someone creates a new char. (or acct.)? By this I mean instead of just starting out in Manhattan with, 2000?, I can't remember, credits you can start out with (just an example) 5000 credits on Planet New London. Any links, advice, or programs appreciated!

Oops.

Found answer in another thread.

In case any of you were wondering, here's how to do it:
1) Go to the Freelancer directory and into the EXE folder.
2) Find and open the mpnewcharactor.fl file with notepad.
3) Find the parameters you want to change and change them.
4) Save and exit the mpnewcharactor.fl file.

the money is the easy one.

u need to have the codes for the planets and bases

there is a post some where with the info

not everbody is perfect
