well i bumped up my player max from 32 to 40 and i was surpised i made no diffrence in the lag, server load, and ping with it full. i beginning to wonder if my cpu is hinding a nitro line and pump lol running 40 players on a p3 1.3

and they still say HARLDY ANY LAG
!!!
also some other reminders for who that play on my server the server restes around 8pm PST and contests are bing draw back to noon my time (pst also) for the UK players.
the contest ussally give out 10 million to the winners(s) 5 million to second place(rs)
2.5 million for the therd place(rs) and the onthers that did not rank 1st 2nd 3rd will recive 250,000.
i also working on a lotto program for a lottery every week (ticket will proble be for sale when I on or on the moderators are on).
most of the time i try to sell thing for cheap prices cargo,sunslayers, screamer, mines,outcast and nomad weapons.

sorry raptor thers been alot of lag i keep getting the yeallow to red connction warning. im on cable i dont get it on Elite as much as i do on your server just thought i would let you know

funny what player you play as? if your the same as me(wih connection) then that normal becasue my computere is a littel slower than yours and you have to wait, it not pumping as fast as you can swallow

well the player bump up didn't work (WAY too much lag from the cpu) so i tuned it back down to 32

and now my isp is changeing to comcast (my attbi was bought out) my ip may chage as well my speed but i dought both

This is by far the laggiest server I have seen yet. How do you even fight NPC's or duel on this server?

we have lag but it not that bad and after i upgraded the cpu the lag when down by 30% what i do is keep the server on a "high" and keep the windows any every program down to min the conection as i feard is...
at it max no more bandwidth

but i try to have contests on my server lately i can't play due to some recent problems on the server (i play on the server)

but i try to keep the server clean of cheaters and "bad" ppl

i think my server is the largest out there (scary)
it has 8000+ accounts and 90% of the time full
and i am now currently working on a mirc channel for it

Dreglor you mentioned 8000+ accounts. Not bad, but from one server admin to another, out of those 8000+ accounts, how many are "ghost" accounts? The reason I ask is ghost accounts will bog down a server too in my experience.

What are ghost accounts you ask? The ones with no names directly below the MP ID you see within the console. Edit/Accounts and look for the MP ID lines that are all by themselves. Delete those and your server will be a little bit more stable. Ghost accounts are created when someone logs onto your server and doesn't choose a name or deletes all their olds ones.

That a nice tweak for all servers.

had a visit 2 your server, in another form, ofcourse, started on a "master run", (had the lil red lag icon, but it was busy), then i got dumped, tried to get back in, an it says i aint got a valid id, wot u kick me for?

well the server was down for 2 days because of the cable modem died...
