That's why you have to be quick outside of Liberty, or you'll be dead.

If you make it to a trade lane, you can hit ESC before you hit the end and dock into the lane headed the other direction, to throw your pursuer off. He'll probably see you headed in the opposite direction, but it will take him longer to react when you're doing something he doesn't expect.

You could also try hunkering down and contacting other players on the server. It might take a while for them to arrive, but I think you'd have quite a few takers.

Hmmmm this reminds me of a huge noob trade group doing the hokkaido trade route 2 days ago... they all died, it was fun those big fat freighters *booom* *booom* *kaboom* *"WHO KILL ME????"*

Useless opinion moment:

PK behavior should be banned from all 4 main "faction" areas. Why? Because if you're IN those areas, you're either trading (non-hostile), passing through (again, non-hostile), or it's the only place you CAN be, and you're doin' trading/mission behavior.

Anybody who's doing PK in those areas is FAR above their foes. It's no contest, thus I'd urge the code-enorced PK ban.... Doubt it will happen, but it needs to be thought about, at least. : )

He took a shot at me last night also. Waited untill I was in the docking autopilot going into a base and opened up. Luckily it was a bad shot as well as a cheap shot and I survived. By the time I finished my snack break and figured out where to go next (20 minutes) he was gone, so I don't know if he was planning to kill me on the way out too.

Did he open up JUST as you started docking, or about the time the screen shrinks to widescreen mode? (you know, black bars on the top, bottom, can't do anything but watch.)

I'm just askin' cuz' in the first instance, it's a cheap kill, in the second instance, you're invulnerable, so they would just be screwing with you : )
