Post your best friend's name so he can be banned to.

The name of his best freind is Red_Dragon or RedDragon I think. All I know for sure is that he uses the same cheats. I told you that you would be banned and you were. Cheating is not allowed on this servers and many others. It causes lag and server crashes that take the fun out of the game for everyone but you. I know that you think lag is fun because you told me so but that is not the general opinion among those who play. Now stop wasting are time and go play with your lame mods in Single Player or some other server that does not mind paying extra money for bandwidth because of your antics.

Got a problem with being banned? Don't play on that server. If I was running an un-modded server, I'd ban you as well. But I do run a modded server, so...
Quit getting your boxers in a bunch and find somewhere else to play.

I understand banning modders...but I still don't understand why I was banned when I just started the game. Didn't have any mods...and was just starting to build up my creds by trading and doing missions. Yet one day I come in...I'm on for about 5 minutes and BAM I'm banned. No reason at all. It was just confusing to me as to why. I didn't know who to contact to ask so I just shrugged my shoulders and moved on but still it puzzles me.

I can't tell you why you were banned, but I bet the answer might be in the DSM-IV, and rest assured it has nothing to do with you personally.

I know they are only words, but we have an affiliation with standards to live up to and this is on the bottom of the front page no one reads anymore. Labelled with ICRA so it's not a personal choice on my part, it's all about keeping this a family oriented web site my friend.

Foul language would not be considered family oriented. Think of it like this return of raider, would you use that sort of language in front of your mother? If not, then chances are it doesn't belong on this site either.

GeneDefect has some almost unstated rules in relation to acceptable names, and even if you pass THOSE rules, he can/will ban you if he thinks you put no thought into your name (or he finds it possibly offensive to the Pope or any Elder of a militant Christian Amish order.. or town.. or something). Hell, he didn't like MY name. I've been using Hellif Ino for about 10 years now, and only used the first portion of it (Hellif) as aplayer on his server. I've not met a single person (other than him) in that time that was offended by my name. Not even random people stopping by JUST to tell me my name is offensive. I even get junk snail mail in that name *L* Was a rude awakening, though. I had been playing along fine, then didn't get to play for like 3-4 days. Finally try to log and find myself banned. Erhm? I wasn't even THERE! What could I have done? >.<

I heard of some guy who was playing along, had been on Seattle based for like 2 weeks, no problems. Then one night he breaks wind while playing. BAM! Suddenly he's disconnected, and finds himself banned when he tries to re-log....

Anyhow, the only way to play there is to get a new Freelancer ID (essentially, reinstall). This trashes all your previous play on any other server, though. Unless you want to bounce around between IDs, that is. I won't play that game. Too many hours invested in other servers.

Raider, you admitted yourself why you got banned, and to think it is unfair that you got caught? - its quite the opposite my friend. its completly fair, u cheated, and you broke the rules, and the punishment was a ban. also, when you go out of your way to protect your friend's identity, and deny the one person already mentioned, it only makes him look more viable. also, your excuse stating that everyone would be using mods if they knew how to get them is way out of whack. I know you from various servers, and your a really nice guy, maybe thats not enuf to get your access for the server reinstated, but it can always help you elsewhere. u know where 2 find me.
