FLServer and IP addresses
I have been looking for a way to not only block by Account ID...but also block by IP address.
I had a punk relog on several times last night after blocking him (He kept coming in with a new IP address)
He was ruining the game for people that really wanted to play. I looked all thru FLServer, but it does not show anything about IP addresses.
At the very least...Is there something that will show me what IP address each person currently logged in with? Cuz I can go into my router and block specific IP addresses.
I can continue to block Account IDs...but he (and other <censored> idiots that know how) can just change their account ID and log right back in.
Now you can't tell me this guy wasn't cheating...Plus I have screenshots of the mods he was using...(A sabre with a FULL compliment...7 at least...of Nomad Lasers...Not Energy Cannons or blaster...but Lasers!)
I need to figure out something until the patch comes out. People like this <censored> are ruining the game for people who want to play....
And no offense to the Modding community...but it's mostly your fault (And DA's for making it so easy to modify...) Just about everything you can find here in the Editing forums are being used by malicious users to ruin the fun for anyone else. I know that wasn't your intention...and I really don't hold it against anyone....But I am in danger of going off topic, and inciting a flame war...and I DON'T want that...
Please, if someone has any ideas on the IP checking, please share.
