i've been running a server (passworded for players in igames gaming centres (uk)) )24/7)

there are a few things i've been wondering about tho to enhance the gameplay before i take it full open no-password

are there any mods worth running to create guild planets etc ..
any good server admin tools out there ? does it even need admin tools ?
can quests / events be created ? can server admin remote admin or is it in game .
and can any of this be done without using a mod manager .. ie. a way that standard clients can connect and play ..
can servers be linked ?
and how can accounts be moved or backed up on the server . i have not been able to find where it stores the files ..

ps .. anyone know what bandwith freelancer users ? i'm running a 128 player server on a T1 line
