Elite Server Needs a Reboot Please

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Elite Server Needs a Reboot Please

At least the server is actually still "UP" at the moment. It's 5:04AM PST and the NPC's on stations are definantly not working like others had pointed out earlier. I need a server reboot so I can get my reputation with Zoners fixed heh. The server is also not showing up with the ingame browser this morning. Had to use ASE to connect...

I am taking care of this now.

Can anyone who was playing at the time this happened, let me know when approximately it actually started? It may help us track down the exact issue.

The server should be back up in just a few.

To the best of my knowledge it started around 10:30 est.
Well that was the first time I noticed it, and I was at a few bases last night (just starting out on the Elite server)

That time sounds about right. I initially thought it was just my computer giving me problems. As of 7:45AM MST Elite was still not visible from the global server. As I am a new player and so have only ONE player on ONE server, this made me a bit nervous.

***Question***
I have had no success in using that -s command line in Windows to connect directly to the server. How does one do that? It's probably just a dumb mistake I keep making...

Also, what is ASE?

Hopefully I will be able to log on tonight and once again forgo sleep in favor of Freelancer.

ASE = All Seeing Eye ... a prog like gamespy.
it dont use the global server to scan for servers, just so you know.
it cannot directly connect either, you need to go into multiplayer-> internet ...
then the server chosen will be the only one there.
