Another Elite server?!

I started up Freelancer with the IP extention for the Elite server, but it never came up. I then checked the internet games...while there, I found ANOTHER server with the same name. It's called "ELITE" - and the description says "This is what ELITE wanted to be!"

Has anyone else seen that server before? Anyway, I really hope someone can shed some light on this...and I hope nothing bad has happened to the (Real!) Elite server.

The "real" Elite server (as well as E2) is down right now, due to some technical issues with the FLserver.exe application.

As soon as we can resolve the issues, we will let everyone know.

The other "Elite" server, is not associated with TLR (only the one running at 131.107.83.10 is the true server.

Hmm I had a good session yesterday and was really looking forward to logging on elite today , but it cant find it waaaa! *hissy fit*

Oh right, that's why it never came up. Anyway, thanks for shedding some light on this, akataka. I look forward to seeing the server back up. Until then, I guess I'll just use this time to continue my SP game.

BTW, about that other server...forget it, cause I don't think it's even there anymore.
