Server Query and Launcher (auto-restart) Apps for download

I wrote a couple win32 apps for querying freelancer server information and
starting/auto-restarting freelancer servers. You can download them from:

EDIT: The original app builds were setup with runtime packages requiring
vcl50.bpl and nmfast50.bpl. The current versions should not require those
files to run. If you find differently, please let me know.

Great piece of kit.

Haven't tested and checked it over properly but first impressions are good.

Just 1 thing, you are missing the "NMFast50.bpl" and the "vcl50.bpl".

If all is well, i'll start using it on my server (see below) with full credit to ya!)

only Vcl50.bpl are missing in both files so I don't know how it is working further.

Once you install the vcl50.bpl, one them asks for the NMFast50.bpl. Just do a search on the internet for the files and install them into the system32 directory.

That is true the first I found on

but where i can find the second! I try looking on google

and why i see myself still staying that i have a lan server ?? after install the first one?

lol, yeah i had trouble there too! I downloaded and LCD thingamybob. The URL is below.

DON'T install it! Just extract the archive and you'll find NMFast50.bpl in there. Then just copy that to the system32 folder.

thx it is working now fine

only why when i starts the fl-server i see my self still as a LAN server and not as a internet server

i ask that allready but it seems nobody no that.

I can play in multiplayer game
i have windows xp
2 networkcards 1 for cabel and the another is connecting to a computer (with a double crosscabel)
I try everthing from microsoft the troubleshooting part but i really i don't know further anymore.

so i be very happy when someone know how to fix this

I also see myself as a lan server. This is because I have a direct connection to the server on my network. People ARE able to connect from the outside world though!

Can people connect to your server from the internet? If you're not sure, post the IP address or the server name and i'll try it out for you.

Unfortunately, I cant connect though. It just says "Process is taking longer that expected...."

have you got the XP firewall enabled? or anyother firewall for that matter?

I put my norton firewall now out (it give no warning or something so i don't think that that the problem is), in awaiting of your trying my xp firewall was allready enabled.

I apologize for any issues in getting the apps to work. I didn't have a box
for testing that didn't have those components already installed. I'll try to
get them added to the installers and edit my original post.

I'm happy to say both apps are working perfectly for me. The only problem I had was starting to use the server launcher directly after performing server maintenance. I forgot to set the server back to internet-available (obviously my mistake). When I tried to shut down the server, it relaunched at once. That tells me the app works as it's supposed to

nice work there

One request for the ping tool, an auto ping on startup option. Lazy I know but if it can be done why not

Also assign it an icon as you cant change the default as it is atm
