Testing the waters for a new RP server.

I know it's kind of 'out there', but I'm interested in hosting/joining a roleplay server.

The only other one I've ever seen is the Zampolit server, and AFAIK it went down about a week ago for good.

Basically I just want to see if anyone would be interested. I for one am tired of just the same old same old server, rush to get to lvl38/class10 weaps, blah blah. How about some social interaction? How about having to watch what you say to the separate factions, because they are player run?

Anyhow. This is my first post to these boards, and its the biggest FL community I've seen yet (there arent many)

tomorow i'm starting a new server 24/7 dedicated server on preaty good connection... so whad did you have in mind.. i might consider your proposal!

Well, actually the server would be in the middle coast :p

Texas to be exact. I just moved into these apartments with KILLER bandwidth.

I would probably play, i can get level 38 stuff in lkike 2/3 hours of playing if i play my cards right, so role play would be nice. even better if you where actually part of the faction and get requested to do drug runs and pirate attacks.
Perhaps get the NPC shields to regen, that'd be cool.

anyways it should be online in next few hours.

i was thinking to make something else of it.. so if anyone has any ideas, bring'em on (just no mods) i want regular server but with some special rules or something like that... maybe to make two sides and we can split the universe or something like that!

Actually what I was thinking of was something akin to the zampolit server, and I think I have the patience (think, mind you) to wait about a bit to see if the admin comes back from his unannounced vacation.

Look for the zampolit thread in the MP forum for more details.

Also, a role in role play is not something you can buy with money, its the life, ideals, and desires of a character that you create and act out.
