Free Enterprise Server

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Free Enterprise Server

I'm announcing the launch of Free Enterprise 24/7. I just put together a new box (Athlon XP 2100+, 512 MB RAM) running Win2KServer. The server should be up consistently, as it won't have anything else running to crash it. Occasionally I may bring down FLServer for maintenance, and maybe some modding.

I'm keeping the limit at 64 right now until I see how performance is affected by high server population. I'm hoping to be able to provide a 128 person server with little lag. (I forgot to mention I'm on a T1)

Hopefully I and some co-admins will be able to organize events and perhaps put together player factions within the server.

that machine wont handle 64 users. my dual xeon 1.0ghz machine handled 20 before lag took over.

I've got an AMD XP Athlon 2000+...with a Gig of PC2700 DDR ram....I have so far only had about 5 people on at once....so far....

I've got my max at 50....But will adjust that if/when I see a problem with lag.
