From DSL to Dialup, Why so slow, because

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

From DSL to Dialup, Why so slow, because

After having DSL and loving it, PACBELL priced it to high so back to dial up I went. I just never could get a fast connection after that? I mean 16k-33k max..
For more than a year of trying modems and line testing and driver plus strings...

I got pissed off and went out side and cut the wires off the DSL box..
Hooked it up the way it was before I bought DSL and 1st time connect at 53k..

Moral is if you go back to dialup, get the lines away from that speed trap DSL box.
