Best Firewall for server

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Best Firewall for server

Started this topic, because some admins run their server with their home pc.
I believe that only few have enough money to buy a full license for a firewall software just for home use, and they are using freeware versions (right?).

My case:
I have usually used Zonealarm, though it's pretty crappy because it's one of those wizard type programs (you cant configure it enough for you needs).
So after testing some firewall programs (freeware), I found that my choise was Sygate Personal Firewall (http://soho.sygate.com/products/comparison.htm).
Among those that I tested it seemed to be the best, it simply had more options to configure than the others. Though there might be better programs awailable?

So my question goes: what is your choise and why?

Zone Alarm because of it simplicity and ability to keep out what I want out, and let in only what I want to let in. I use the free version and find it to be just as customizable as I'd ever need. But you do need to read up on it a little bit to understand what you're doing.

Interesting thread. I'm familiar with ZA, but don't have it on the box I'll use as a server. The box is sitting behind a cable modem router. The router has NAT and I've only opened the 2302-2304 UDP ports to forward to that machine. Should I also use ZA on this machine or is the NAT good enough - I usually get a solid response from the sites that go looking for open ports and whatnot for you machine.
