The MP codes are a morphed compilation that are impossible to decipher. Call it a lesson learned, when they install the game and they get the screen with the account info tell them to read it carefully. The warning is clear about copying down the number.

Not trying to be a smart, but this type of lesson is important to everyone....back up, save, backup, save. Those two words are so important when playing with computers. There is no one you can get mad at except yourselves.

Is it possible to copy one character file to another in any way? Say, make a new character, then transfer someones old character into the new one, thus giving them back the access they once had?

ok you are all noobs its easy just asked the server they were on to give them there code if they still got the account on another computer and want to copy the accuont to another computer just goto run regedit

right click on freelancer export save it to were eva and copy it on to the other computer and then open it and say yes ok
done launch FL and you should have you accounts there
