SP placement problem

Alright, so I start a new game. Instantly everything goes wrong. I'm in Omicron Major (Only instead of a dyson sphere, I'm in an empty tristar system with nothing in it.), and my mission is "Dock with Planet Toledo". I've reinstalled, replaced the mission files, and even tried to modify M13.ini to set it right (Note: The third option at least put me in manhatten).

I've tried nearly everything that comes to mind. Any ideas?

A somewhat rare occurance whenever I had corrupted files. (Possibly cross contamination from other mods using different SDK's and coding practices)
What you started in, is the Freeport 7 System that is used for the intro script to the story line. You'll notice a similarity to the Sigma-17 System where you'll find the debris of a station exactly in the spot where Freeport 7 was destroyed by the nomads. The only problem is, there is really nowhere to go in that system except to exit the game and try starting over.
As I said, it's a result of corrpted files. All I can suggest is a complete uninstall and fresh install of Freelancer. (However, before you uninstall Freelancer, make sure you make a copy of your MP account ID just in case you had one)

Sorry, but that seems to be a fact of life about using different mods when nobody is willing to cooperate in establishing a unified data base.

Thanks for the idea... I had already tried reinstalling. I managed to get it fixed of my own accord. Oddly enough... by installing a mod

Just in case it happens again, you may have to consider a complete
"uninstall" . I remember that I had to do this a couple of times because I was playing on one mod in particular while trying to develop my own mod.
It was very frustrating to say the least since it also forced me to start from scratch in the process of building my mod.
Now, the only mod on my pc is the one I'm working on.
