LAN Server IP address problem
It seems that everyone can log into our multiplayer server but me. This server is running on my LAN but is accessible to the internet.
From one of my PCs I can log in to play the game. From the other I can use remote desktop connection to log in to manage the server but when I try to log in to play the game; instead of seeing the server IP (192.168.x.x) I see the following: fe80::2e0:29ff:fe5e:ece8
I've uninstalled ZoneAlarm Firewall including digging through the registry to remove any instances of Zonelabs, Zonealarm, and truevector. I've ensured that Windows Firewall is off. I can NOT log in because my game doesn't recognize the aforementioned number as an IP. I completely reinstalled the game but have not had any luck there.
Again, one PC (on the same network) can log in. the other can't.
What should I be looking for?
