Buy Nomad Weapons?

Are there any mods that will allow me to buy the nomad weapons? I had them untill my game crashed and now I've spent 3 days shooting nomads trying to get them again but none will drop. I'm wondering if using a trainer may have messed up my chances of them dropping weapons. Is there any other way to get them?

yeah my mod you can buy nomad weapons if you want to try to play it in open single player. but i test all my mod stuff on a lan server. the weapons are for sale on the osiris in omicron alpha. also primus and gammu sell class 10 weaps and in tohoku ryuku base sells weapons and commoditys. just click my sig or to the main page its order mod 43.64

I installed your mod, but I cant find the osirus. Is that something that should have been installed with the mod?

no its in omicron minor i will get the xact cordinate soon ok its in sector 4g thats where the osiris is in omicron alpha about 17 clicks away from the omicron minor jump hole.

If you're using the Osiris as a station...
You gotta make sure it is decloaked....otherwise......you won't see it.
If you look hard enough in the files....it's in a few other systems as well...only it's "invisible" .
I came across this problem a couple of times when I tried to convert a planet in the Texas system to a base...guess what...it was the Osiris.ini simply because the base.ini happened to be the same.
Same thing again when I tried to use it in a new system (called "New Sirius) and align it with the outcast faction. It was invisible again.
I found some thread in here somewhere that addresses this issue of the Osiris being invisible. You have to remove the offending device or comment it out.
BUT...keep in mind that doing this is going to affect your single player game.

yeah it in the order wants you mod i use that in my order 43.64 mod and all previous versions of the mod. just for kicks how do i get the other osiris ships uncloaked because i use the story line st01 02 03 in my mod . also theres a jump gate when you enter the alien gate in omicron minor how do you make that work.

A pretty cool way to enable buying nomad technology weapons on stations and planets is to modify the equipment_goods.ini (or weapons_goods.ini) not sure which one at the moment. Or use the FLExplorer and edit the equipment on a particular station or planet to sell them. You can do this with practically ANY planet or station either way.
I kind of like setting up the sale of nomad weapons in outer systems where there is more nomad activity.
Where I have created new factions in new outer systems and use nomad (advanced) weapons for them...I just enable the sale of them on planets or stations in those particular systems.

All I can suggest is to remove or comment out the offending device to decloak the Osiris in each system it's encountered. (One is even in New York at the entrance to Zone 21! )
To remove it, just delete the line.
To comment it out, just add a ; in front of the line.
Osiris is located in Hamburg (Rh something), Texas (Li04), New York (Li01) and Omicron Minor (St01)(where Toledo is)

Personally, I'd prefer to just delete the line and close up the space.

To get THAT particular Nomad gate to work...it's gonna have to be "unlocked" somehow. Since it's a mission created solar, it may be as simple as adding it to the particular system.ini file.
There is a reference somewhere around here on how to do that.
I know the Open Single Player Lite mod does this, but does not address the airlock to the nomad lair core.
(I like the idea of being able to run through the sequence and back out of the nomad layer...I've come close by adding new jump holes inside the core..but really, that defeats the purpose and doesn't work very well as I've usually ended up outside the core no matter how small I made the jump hole radius)

yeah i got how to add weapons to bases in the order 43.64 i have ryuku selling commodities and class 10 weapons and primus and gammu are selling weapons . the osiris is added because i use the order wants you mod script from tyco it produes the osiris plus the horus and another fun thing the nomad2 a advanced nomad killing machine . thanks for the info i might check about the osiriss and unclock in the summer for a futrue release.
