Odd Multiplayer problem

Hi guys

Ok, I have three PCs in the same room, each running a unique copy of FL [that is, they all have their own unique FL ID code and all have their own original FL CDs.

Now what I find happens is that only any two out of the three PCs can connect to any given Internet FL server at a time - but not the third. Doesn't matter which two connect first, the last to try to connect can't do so.

I can connect all three simultaneously to our 'in-house' LAN FL Server which is hosted on one of the three machines.

I can connect two computers to one Internet server, and the third to another [different server simultaneously. I have tried this with several servers and get the same result.

But I can't get all three to connect to the same Internet server.

All the servers were quiet at the time [currently hosting 1 or 0 players out of a permitted 20 or 30.

Asked the server Admin and he was stumped too.

My system connects to the Internet via a Belkin cable router and Webstar cable modem.

I'd like to be able to connect all three PCs to the same Internet server simultaneously.

Anyone any ideas, plz?

Cheers
Tony [Drax

apparently there may be an IP clash, servers allow two of the same iP's for sure..and not the third (i tried using 3 users on my pc) or when i fire up my own server then i can use all 3 dunno why though

As our friend Edison Trent would say: 'Interesting, thanks!'. So it looks as if 'm not the only one who has the problem, then.....
