That ones pretty easy. If you install as normal and add SDK if you plan to use a mod, then copy everything into another folder.
Keep the structure of thegames files, but copy every thing else. Then, make up a shortcut by clicking copy on the Freelancer.exe and paste shortcut in another location.
It dosen't really care where the game folder is as long as the files are in the right order. FLMM does mind though and there isn't an option to choose a different location.

You already can, easy, just follow these steps.

1: Open up C:\Program FIles\Microsoft Games and right-click freelancer and select copy.
2: Create and new folder in the same directory C:\Program FIle\Microsoft Games\ and name it to whatever you want except freelancer.
3: Open up the folder then press CTRL+V or Right click anywhere inside that folder and click paste.

Wollah, you now have two freelancer games.

Nice gravebump, but welcome to Lancersreactor.

He is asking how to have 2 copies as in 2 folders of the same game, as dude just told him. Adding a new account(on windows XP) gives you a new account number. As in the number that goes into the server that you play on to tell what chars. you have.
