HELP! Big Technical Issue!

Somebody please help me. Whenever i start a new game i start in the system where Freeport 7 died (i'm not sure what that system is called) and it says "Dock with planet Toledo" but there is no jump hole, jump gate, or any planet in the system apart from 3 suns, and whenever i try to die by colliding into the suns to respawn i don't get hurt.

Can someone please tell me whats wrong.

Thanks,
dudeofthed out!

It's just a small bug, I forgot how it happens.
Just reinstall your game and try it.

You could try installing SDK over the top of your files, that seems to fix a multitude of sins. It might just be that you have used a mod and have leftover files in the game directories.

But i did SDK and it didn't work, and i reinstalled the game after i installed SDK and it still didn't work.

All thats left after those two is to delete the autosave and restart from the saved game folder:
..\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer
and delete/remove any saved games.

If that does not work you need to uninstall Freelancer then check your program files folder and make sure that in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games folder there is no Freelancer. If there is a Freelancer folder delete it from inside the Microsoft Games folder.

I have had to do this several times because it seems that some mod files will not uninstall, and when you install Freelancer again you still have those files in your Freelancer folder which will mess your game up. Been there done that.
