FLscan installing problems

I know everybody keeps saying how good the FLscan is, so i've tried to install it and it sends me off to microsoft to install "Framework 1.1". Well, they've got version 2.0 available for download now, so i install that, re-run FLscan and... it sends me back of to microsoft again. What am i missing, does it need version 1.1 and not 2.0? Any help would be appreciated.

Mace afaik it's only 1.1 that it uses.

damn, you beat me to it. I just checked the readme that comes with FLScan as I suspected that you needed the framework. Here's a couple of clips from the readme:

<start>

Important Information
FLScan requires version 1.1 of the .NET Framework to function correctly. This is a set of runtime files that allow applications built using the new .NET framework to run correctly. These files come as standard with new versions of Windows XP and Windows Service Packs, and are also automatically installed by Windows Update. If you do not have these files however you can download them from the Microsoft website.

Before you try and contact me with a problem, please read this document thoroughly to make sure it isn't blindingly obvious! If not, feel free to contact me at http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/">The Lancers

<end>

I hope that if you pre-install a copy of the 1.1 Framework you'll be o.k. If you have trouble getting a copy of that version, give me a shout as I usually have stuff like that backed up somewhere.

regards...
