hmm, i have a friend whos having the same issues. if we figure it out ill let ya know.

EDIT: ok, we sorted it out. for him, he had to format his pc(due to freelancer :-. that is what we figured created the issue. that format deleted his video card drivers. all he needed to do was find out what type/brand of video card he had and download the appropriate driver then install it. *poof* he was all good. problem solved.

hope that helps. good luck.

we had a player on my server that had a simular problem,we fixed his problem in the following way

Open the game disc in explorer and navigate to the "fonts" folder. then copy all three files into your system's FONTS folder, usually located at "C:\WINDOWS\FONTS".

This might work, then again,it might not....but it might be worth a shot before u format (if that's ur plan)

(" )_(" ) signature to help him gain world domination.

Thanks for the advises... I actually solved it just by putting in a new card... I now have a Nvidia RIVA TNT2 M64 32MB, it works even better now... Not only the text but the graphics too
