HELP freelancer

SOMEONE HELP ME!! i have tried and tried to play a LAN game (internet works fine) anyway it always says Please wait. The operation is taking longer than expected. Press ESC to cancel. anyway i wait for ages or press esc and they both have the same messgae aobut internet connection problems but that crap beacuase im on my network and my internet works!! please help i also find it occasionally works.

when viewing games in LAN and looking at the IP address colum when it says my normal it 813.121.2.23 (example) it works but when it says fe8abec.235ac (example) it does not work so i have NO idea i have no mods e.t.c

PLEASE HELP!!

If your server IP has letters in it, you need to turn IPv6 off on the NIC that is in the PC running FLServer.

im sorry but im not sury what v6 or NIC is im rely sorry in new at this could you tell me what that is or steps to do that?
