cant level up

btw the link for the fix to this in **FIX** for many problems playing FL! topic is broken. the problem is i was worth over $550k and the next level (30) was something over $300k, and i just wasn't leveling up. Then i went and installed the freelancer v1.1 patch and it changed the next level requirement to "mission". I've completed all the single-player missions already, so im not aware of any missions i should be completing, and there definitly arent any on the nav map. I've tried doing loads of bar-missions with no change. Really want to level up so i can get the Titan, as ive got the money and im allied with the Corsairs, so this is all thats stopping me. PLEASE HELP!

I don't usually post things like this but since you have already completed the storyline, other than starting a new game I don't see how you can get around the this problem other than starting a new game or using the IONCROSS Character Editor which you can download here on Lancers Reactor.
It will allow you to edit your saved games...depending on how much you want to cheat.
That's how I see it as spoiling the game but in your case I'll make an exception.

again, level requirements state how much _more_ money you need to make to get to the next level, not total worth.

well ive gone and made an extra 500k and still havent leveled up, tried downloading unnoficial patch but requirements still say "mission". if nobody comes up with anything that works ill probably just use the savegame editor to get to level 32, as by now im sure id be there anyway. EDIT: ok ive just been trying to edit my level with the savegame editor and it doesnt appear that you can, so i definitly need to know how to fix this problem

You mentioned that you wanted to get a Titan.
Well the editor will allow you to give yourself a Titan or any other ship you desire.

yeah i thought about doing that but i still wanna level up anyway so i can get better missions and go explore the unknown systems etc. there was a link in the thread i mentioned was broken, does anyone know what the contents were or how to get to them?

On my game it says mission too but i can still easly level up by blowing up and selling the remains.
