General Mulriplayer Questions

I just bought Freelancer a week or so ago...and after playing the Single player mission a bit I deceded to take a crack at the Multiplayer....I careted a character and loged into a server just fine....but I was wondering.....are there any recomended servers for new players like myself, where I can train the character and earn enough money (easily and quickly) to get a better ship and so forth.

Also can I run a server and play at the same time?

if you wanna make some money quick download my mod the evil empire revolution . the mod i made is called the order 3 battle for tohoku. heres what you do first you buy the anubis at omicron minor then go into the new york jump hole . go to detroit munitions buy firearms then go back to omicron minor find the tohoku jump hole go through there watch out for the nomads . seel the fire arms at ryuku base . then buy cardimine at ryuku base and sell it at manhatten or in omicron alpha on the battleship osiris again watch out for nomads. just click my signature at the bottom of this post to grt my mod and my website.
