Looking for 24/7 servers w/ consistant player base

I and a few adult buddies of mine are looking for a 24/7 Freelancer persistant world server. We have all played various MMOs in the past, yet are looking for somthing new.

We prefer Role Playing servers and a population/community that consistantly plays on a daily/weekly basis.

Are we late to the Freelancer party? Has this game dried up and been place on life support? We hope and pray that is not the case.

We would love to find a server that has men and women on it, that is a Role Play server, that has PvP but not infested with players that gank non-stop for no reason (much like you find in MMORPGs), and like previously mentioned - has a good community that consistantly plays in-game. A forums would be great too.

I looked at the server/mod list and many seem either to be still in production, or have no recent news for 2007.

North Quadrant is pretty much what you described you are looking for. There are a few other mods out there, can't think of them off the top of my head. North Quadrant can be found at:

is always looking for new players. It runs 24/7 and has a solid member base. It is only a bit different from vanilla freelancer with its mod, but there are enough changes to make exploration fun.

Try out the new BSG-Galactica Server. It's still brand new but it will certainly become a nice roleplay server

Well,

Adui'splace isnt a big server with lots of players YET .
However, we have a few dedicated players who come around quite regularly.

We arent a role play server per say, but thats only because what many in the FL community seem to see as roleplay I see as thugism. You see, I used to play the old paper and dice RPG's where you really did play a role, not just get the best equipment and go kill lesser players for fun, then call it roleplay.

I encourage true roleplay on my server, and welcome you and your friends to come try us out; if you've not already found a server to your liking.
