Hi, my names Dawg, and I've just opened a server a month ago and my problem right now is locked JH's and the JG to and from and Alaska to and from NY? How do I take care of this?
I have Ioncross mk.v.1 and it has a box to allow me to access all JH/JG's but still, it's not working it.
I want my server to run as smooth as possible. JH's are a vital part of my game play and I hope that this is a simple problem to resovle, please advise.

I could answer some of these...

draco, some mods change the version number of the game to prevent people accessing the server if they don't have the same mod.The most popular of these is Discovery version 4.83. All those servers you're seeing with 4.83 are running Discovery. Download that.

demon, Vista is an awful OS and pops up with problems everywhere. I think there's a solution somewhere, look around.

If I may ask. A friend of mine has been trying to play multiplayer but no servers show up. It just says Global Server Connecting forever. Any assistance would be appreciated

Check that his firewall and antivirus is set to allow Freelancer connection to the internet the port you wanna unblock is 2302 (i believe

)

It seems to have been a problem with Europe's global server. It's fixed now.

I have a problem with going online.
When I try to connect to a server (global server is connected) it says that its going offline, I have this error at EVERY server, Is there a solution to fix this problem?

So me and a friend are playing freelancer off of a local server and have switched computers for the weekend, meaning we have switched installs, meaning we have switched multiplayer accounts. I have both account numbers, and was wondering if there was a way to switch the install key without having to resort to reinstalling the game.

you will have to edit the appropriate registry keys. i used to give out explicit instructions for this, but I think that is probably not wise because if you can't figure that much out you probably shouldn't touch the registry. warning; editing the registry can ruin windows, if you do so it is at your own risk

I have same exact problem, new computer running on vista, firewall is set to execpt freelancer, I run game, select mutiplayer, click on one server, get the error msg that the server is bizzy or something, and i do that to all the servers, on my list , same msg, what is all this about, i miss me mutiplayer fun, can someone please help us out? = (
