Change Cursor Color?
Hi folks.
I have an eye problem where parts of my optic nerve are damaged, yielding reduced visibility in some parts of my field of vision.
This means I can see the whole screen, but some parts are easier to see than others. Where I am looking is clear, but anything in the periphery is harder to see. Contrast between a cursor and the background is critical for me to be able to see it.
When flying in the game, I can (fairly) easily follow the cursor when I'm in dark-colored space, but as soon as I go to any of the lighter colored areas (Magellan, etc, and also within ice clouds in otherwise-normal sectors), I lose the ability to track the cursor unless it's right on an enemy (and therefore, red). If it's that light bluish shade and I'm in light-colored space, I can just give it up.
Anybody know if it's possible to alter the cursor color? I guess I could try to avoid any and all parts of combat that might take place in light-colored areas, but that seems like it would cause me to miss out on a lot.
Thank you.
