House fighters
Hi, I have noticed a very large fallback in the game - especialy as concerns multiplayer. In single player they have tried to make sure that you make your way around all the houses by making them kind of like dificulty levels, with Liberty having easy AI and Rhineland having the hardet out of the houses.
Although this means that people will not stick with their prefered house, it also makes Liberty, Bretonia and Kusari infirior in multiplayer, I am proposing a mod that would make all the house ships respectivley balaced, from what I have seen, this would be easy to achive, however I am inexpirianced so I may not be the best person to take up a project like this. I think it is a major flaw in the game which could easily be fixed.
Advantages and disadvantages of each house could remain more orless as they are now:
Liberty-
Weapons: Medium strength, medium number.
Shields: Medium power.
Cargo space: Medium, medium nanos/shields.
Manuverability: Medium.
Bretonia-
Weapons: Medium strength, high number.
Shields: Medium power
Cargo space: High, high nanos/shields.
Manuverability: Medium
Kusari-
Weapons: Medium strength, low number.
Shields: Low power.
Cargo space: Low, low nanos/shields.
Manuverability: Very high.
Rhineland-
Weapons: Very high strength, medium number.
Shields: Very high power
Cargo space: Medium, medium nanos/shields.
Manuverability: Low
Civilian and specialised ships could have a wider range - for example a Light fighter is very poor, a heavy fighter is medium and a heavy fighter is high. Whereas the house fighters are military so they should start higher up - light is aproximate to medium, heavy and very heavy are aproximate to civilian heavy. Therefore a Light civilian fighter wouldnt stand a chance against a house ship, however a heavy is equal.
What do you think, please tell me if I have missed a similar idea somewhere.
