i know that this has been asked before, but i don't think we have gotten any actual answers to it. is there any way to get mods where we don't have to go in and manually edit these files?
I for one am completely bedazzled by all this.
there are a number of mods i would like to try out (see battleship mod )
as well as some other things (backup my server's user data? umm ok i will copy the entire contents of my directory over here for now. )

i just get easily confused by all of this. can we get some kind of mod installer? i know there has been at least one attempt for one, but the posts suggest it is to buggy to be practical.
