Is there any way to remove some of the annoying cutscenes like when you dock? I hate waiting for my ship to spend ten seconds docking every time!
In multiplayer you cant skip...Cause basically your ship is "there"..
If u could your ship would simply disapear from space...And that doesnt look good. Id rather watch the docking part and mantain the space "feeling" than skip a cutscene. But in singleplayer u can skip all cutscenes.. The only cutscenes u cant are from the storyline, and undocking from planets..This again has a reason. When undocking the ship needs to be in a "safe" position.

What I'd kill for is a way to skip the bar conversations and go straight to the message box.
"Yes, I'm well aware I'm new here. Nor do I care that you don't run the station but have a relationship with those that do. The nice little tooltip box in space lists the base owner, thanks."
I like the fact there are conversations, but after the 100th time...

Well i guess we shouldn't have expected that much in terms of non-story related dialogue. In fact you guys should actually be thankfull that there is non-story dialogue at all. In every other game of its type, or in any RPG game for that matter, all conversations with NPC's are handled through dialogue boxes where you select the appropriate responses. With that said, I'd still take this method of communication over the incessant "you're new here aren't you?" and "yup" or "uh huh" and "well, take care Trent" and "you never know, it might be usefull" ad nauseum!!! Ahhhhhh, make it stop, make it stop!! I think that after the first visit to a planet or space station/battleship you should be able to simply click on the person and they will immediately give you a rumor, a job, or information without any cutscene whatsoever. Hope DA releases a patch to do just this. With there being almost 200 bases to visit, and having to constantly visist them over and over again for info, rep fixing, rumors, etc its gets annoying to the extreme having to witness the same mini cutscene for the millionth time.

You can, hit esc.
Yeah, what he said.
I haven't watched one of those "you new here" cutscenes since the first one I saw in the demo.
Fly well,
