A little help

Okay, I'm new at this, am and trying to figure it out. I downloaded the BINI untility and decompressed the diff2money file. I made the desired changes to the uncompressed file, but now what do I do? Do I need to re-compress this file? Please help.

I'm having problems with the changes I made. I get no random missions when I mess with that file.

The way I understand it, there is no need to recompress the file, the game will read it uncompressed.

BTW-what changes did you make? Could you copy and paste them here?

the files name is blablabla.ini.txt when you are finished editing it, change the name to blablabla.ini and delete the original.

DON'T DELETE THE ORIGINAL!
If you screw something up (and you may not know exactly what it is), you will need to re-install the game.

rename it to BAK to or something.

not really

ALWAYS make backups (forgot to mention)
and on the cd under cab1 there are backup's of every file under the DATA folder..
