Xlancer, did you notice that hardpoint that is on the opposite side of the thruster on the "downward fin" (it connects the center of the main ship/bridge to the lower wing thing)?

It looks weird that the thruster fires "off center" since it only fires on the left side.

Also: The 2 new weapons that one can add to the Sabre are not the ones "under" the main left and right wings. Those hard points are still unused even after adding the 2 weapon slots you pointed out. I wonder how to activate those. I'd love to put torpedo slots there!

That may be true but I can't check right now. I am coding my personal ini compressor (thanks to HCl ) behind different puter. Poke around in Sabre's cmp file. It is binary but you can still see strings such as HpWeapon, HpTurret etc. At least you'll be able to tell which HPs are defined.

To add the two extra hard points and activate them, you do something like this:
hp_type = hp_gun_special_10, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03, HpWeapon04, HpWeapon05, HpWeapon06, HpWeapon07, HpWeapon08

Sorry if it looks a bit odd, but it will work, I basically added 2 hardpoints HpWeapon07 and 08 and made all the others class 10 weapons. Hope this makes sense to you all.

hmm ok so we can mount weapons on turret hardpoints.. now my question is, do they only fire forward? or do they still have to ability to fire behind?

If you put a weapon in a turret hardpoint it will fire everywhere. 360 degree missiles and torpedoes!

Has anyone yet been able to figure out what the hardpoint is that is "opposite" the Sabre's thrust hardpoint?

I would LOVE to turn that into another thruster if for no other reason than SYMMETRY!

Ok.. I have tried to follow the example here. I can get the ship into manhattan, no problem. BUT.. When I try to BUY this version of the Anubis, game crashes. I guess I missed something -

anyone else have this problem?
