Editing ship''s speed

What must i change in the shiparch.ini to edit the ship's speed? I'v tried the "mass" but it only makes the ship go the same speed with a little lagggg!

make the mass lower, but dont make it 0 mass as it will go 998 meters a second and make docking a bitch. also there are 3 sets of numbers underneath it drag acceleration etc, try changing them as well. But dont make them 0 or you go nowhere

ok so if i change the mass to 10.. that should give me the reslut im likking for.. what shold the numbers under be?

they will be:

mass = 100.000000
linear_drag = 1.000000

steering_torque = 18000.000000, 18000.000000, 58000.000000
angular_drag = 15000.000000, 15000.000000, 35000.000000
rotation_inertia = 2800.000000, 2800.000000, 1000.000000

or a variation on these numbers. Leave linear drag as it is otherwise you wont be able to dock with stations easily

i changed the mass and all he other stuff to what you wrote earlier.. but the ship is not flying anny faster!

make the mass 0 it will fly superfast but docking or landing is nearly impossible

but the problem is that when i make it 0 the ship starts to hack..
does it have annything to do with which ship im flying?

well say you want to edit the rheinland humpback you search for rh_freighter

KU = kusari
BR = Bretonia
RH = Rhineland
LI = Liberty ( i think so anyway, im not sure )

if you have the mod that unlocks all the ships available in the demo code then it will.

also try increasing the bank angle if you want to

I increased the max speed of a thruster.. so i dont need to mess around with the mass of the ship

i think its in st_equip, allthough i need to know the ones for the cargo ships, as i moded them all, now anyone who uses after burners travels at cruise speed
