if you open mpnewcharacter.fl with notepad, you can screw around with the stuff. ITs pretty funny. Try changing

costume = Juni
com_costume = Juni

you get trent looking like juni, however something is weird and the arms stick out of the front of the shirt... and the neck is twisted. also, if you change it to some non existing value, when talking to someone you will be invisible, and they will whip there head around in a circle. its quite funny.

lol i tried using king instead of juni, king works perfectly. it looks a little odd when he talks (kinda like he got botox). Im gonna keep trying others... It kinda looks cool to have a different char then trent.

if you go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\CHARACTERS
then use the bini tool to extract costumes.ini, you can see a list of all avalible names. Its odd... male bodys work perfectly, but female bodys have a problem placing the arms.

My juni works fine.. but one probalem.. all I'd did was changer trents head.. so juni's head is a little small for trent's body.. thats the only way I'd worked on cuz just like you guys said if you use juni's body her neck gets twisted, and her arms are like crashed into her body. but one thing do stick out.. her boobs! lol.

it's because you are just changing the textures. and placing them on a genaric male body. you need to change the model to genaric female for and of the female charactors to Umm... look "right"
